The similiarities of LTTS and The Way Up To Heaven

Below are some similarities and differences between the two stories, LTTS and The Way Up To Heaven.
Firstly, both the wives in the stories are very devoted to their husbands.Whenever their husbands ask them to do something they would do it with no complains.
Secondly, both the husbands in the stories were indifferent to their wives needs and problems and did not treat their wives well.
Thirdly, both the wives killed their husbands. In LTTS Mary Maloney Murdered her husband with a lamb stick and in The Way Up To Heaven, Mrs Foster killed her husband by not finding a solution to save him when he was trapped in the lift.
There was a twist in both the stories. In LTTS,at the beginning, Mary Maloney was very demure and would serve the husband eagerly. However at the end< id="SPELLING_ERROR_8" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">lift, she left him to die. These are some of the differences. Firstly, LTTS is about a young couple. However, The Way Up To Heaven is about a old couple. Secondly, In LTTS, Mary Maloney could calm down very easily. She could smile at the grocer even after she had killed her husband. However, in The Way Up To Heaven, Mrs Foster, could not calm down even after an hour or so. Her face turned white when she knew her husband was trapped in the lift.

  1. A good reflection on both stories. P.S You spelled a number of words wrongly

  2. I do not really think that she REVEALED her cunning side. She is impacted too much by the spell of bad incidents that her characteristic changed drastically. I do not think that she has this characteristic hidden beneath her, but in a nutshell, this is still a good summary!

  3. I think that you summarized the stories very well, emphasizing the core parts of the story and highlighting the minor details
